Subscribing
When subscribing, you are asked to provide your name, gender and email address. Any additional information collected is used for managing TixTat services and your account, as described herein.
When you subscribe to the site your name may be made publicly available to those who perform system searches when also subscribed to the system. Additionally, your username and profile page may be available publicly in search results. Some system features, including but not limited to search, public user profiles, TixFeeds, trend topics, Posses/groups, and viewing lists may not require registration and may be seen publicly.
Use of Subscriber Information
In addition to name and email, other information you provide may be made public.
You may choose to make public additional information, such as information about you, your location, a profile picture and other social media connections. Any information provided is at the Subscriber's discretion, unless otherwise required.
You may populate your account with a mobile phone number for delivery of SMS/text messages. You may also provide access to your address book so that we can help you find TixTat users you may know, as well as to invite others to TixTat.
TixFeeds, Posses, lists and other publicly accessible areas of TixTat are designed to share and publish information to the world. Most information you provide to TixTat is information you agree to make public, such as messages you post and any information attached thereto or provided, including post date/time stamp, comments to posts, post likes, re-posts, Posse and group lists, people you associate with through the web site, and other information. Your location, when you provide it via use of the system, may also be made public.
The majority of TixTat default settings are designed to make the information you provide public, though you have some control over public settings - see "edit profile" and "security settings" - where you can hide certain information from public view. Any public information may be broadly and instantly disseminated through the course of your using TixTat. TixFeeds, Posses and posts are searchable by numerous search engines. Be cautious about any information made public by your actions, as well as through system use.
Any User log data is automatically recorded through your use of TixTat. Log Data may include but not be limited to IP address, type of browser, any referring domain, pages visited and the time spent on each page, any search terms used, your mobile carrier, device and application IDs, and any other interaction associated with your use of the web site, its applications and advertisements. Data, including but not limited to any common account identifiers, such as your username, IP address, or email address shall be deleted and removed as applicable by law.
Any information you provide may be used to improve our services, website content, navigation and other related issues, including marketing to you. TixTat may use the information to send email notifications about its website, new site features, service offers, new products, affiliations, etc. Any communication from TixTat may contain information about our affiliates, their special offers, promotions or other marketing material.
You may unsubscribe from system correspondence by following instructions contained within messages or the instructions on our web site. Should you send email to us, your message may be filed or disseminated internally, along with email address and contact information in order to respond to your communication, or for internal quality control purposes.
Propriety of Subscriber Information
A limited number of TixTat employees, contracted consultants or related parties may have access to your personal information. We may use other services, contractors or vendors to provide some services, including and not limited to third party applications, credit card and payment processing, technical services, system development or repair. If disclosure of personal information is required, it is done so with confidentiality and for the purpose of those services only. However, such use will mirror the terms of this Privacy Policy.
TixTat will preserve or disclose subscriber information in cases where, in its discretion, disclosure is required or appropriate in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations. We will also preserve or disclose personally identifiable information as required by law and when disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or when legal process is served on our Web site.
Sale or Other Disposition of Assets
Should TixTat assets be sold, merged with or acquired by another company, your information will likely be among assets transferred. In such case, you will be notified via email or notice on our Web site.
Website Security
TixTat implements industry standard measures to protect against the loss, misuse, destruction and alteration of information under its control. The information we collect about you is stored on limited-access servers, on secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall, and password protected to protect integrity and privacy of all your personal information.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect your personal information, both during transmission and once we receive it. Some personal information (ie: credit card, social security) which may be input on our website forms are encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL). TixTat will never ask for your username, password or personal information in an unsolicited communication. If you need to contact us regarding an unsolicited email asking for your password or account information, please do so by emailing us at support@tixtat.com.
Of Age Subscription
Minors under the age of 13 may not use this service. Subscribers to services of TixTat must be a minimum thirteen (13) years of age. Subscription to services is null and void where prohibited. By subscribing to and using our services, you represent you are at least 13 years of age and capable of engaging subscription services. Parents of minors should note that TixTat may not monitor or control posted content and shall not be held liable or responsible for said content. Parental and personal discretion is advised when minors under the age of 18 are allowed access to Tixtat.
Website Links
TixTat may keep track of how you interact with links in the website, including third party services and affiliate clients by redirecting clicks or through other means. This tracking helps improve our services, including advertising, web site performance analysis and aggregate click statistics.
Our website may contain links to other websites whose policies, practices and procedures may differ from that of TixTat. As we may have no control over these other websites, Subscribers should review their policies, terms of use, disclaimers, privacy, spam and other related notices.

Use of cookies is common internet practice. TixTat uses cookies to keep track of your activity, purchases, etc. on the TixTat website and in an effort to enhance our services and your experience using them. Cookies may be used to track online session time, content delivery, password storage, and, at your option, other personal information for your convenience each time you visit the website. Cookies are required to login to your account and use the system and its services. Cookies are not tied to your personally identifiable information.
TixTat third party advertisers may also use cookies. These are third party cookies over which TixTat has no control. Subscribers should note third party privacy policies of the advertiser and if/how it uses cookies. TixTat may allow third party pixel tags, which are images inserted in a webpage and used to record the number and types of views for that page, for purposes of advertising, providing services, analysis, or data collection.
TixTat Message Boards, Chat and/or Other Forums
Personally identifiable information disclosed online through TixFeed, Posses, Forums, Message Boards or Chat Modules is considered submitted to public domain. Such disclosure may increase your chance of receiving spam, unsolicited email, other unwanted communications or contact over which we have no control. Posting of your personally identifiable information is not recommended and should be done with extreme caution, careful consideration and discretion. TixTat shall not be held responsible for the information you provide.
Current Personal Information
You are responsible to accurately maintain the contact information you provide for your TixTat account. Changes can be made by logging into your account and editing your profile information. Your accurate provision of this information is our only means of communicating with you. TixTat is not responsible for communications that fail delivery due to incorrect subscription contact info at the time sent.
Opt-Out Provisions
A subscriber may opt-out of providing certain personally identifiable information when asked for this information. For example, should you purchase a product/service and wish not to receive any additional marketing material you can indicate your preference on our website, where applicable. If you no longer wish to receive offers, advertisements, newsletters and/or promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in any system newsletter or communication, or by emailing optout@TixTat.com. You may also opt-out of certain issues by logging in to your TixTat account and editing your Account Preferences.
Deactivating Your Subscription Account
If you wish to deactivate your account for any reason, you may do so by logging into your TixTat account and deactivating it. If you believe your account to be unsecure or hacked into, you may deactivate your account and set up a new account with a new username and password. Please report any such incidence of account abuse by emailing security@tixtat.com.
Policy Modifications
Should TixTat decide to modify the manner in which we use, collect or store personally identifiable information, we will notify subscribers either via email, notice on this page or posting on the website. Age Use Limitation
TixTat is not directed to and may not be used by anyone under age 13. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from anyone under 13.
